Short version: the only account our tool touches is our own, we don’t sell anything, and access can be cut off whenever the account owner likes. The longer version follows.
What does this cover?
hardcentury.xyz and the in-house tool Hard Century uses to upload to YouTube. The tool talks to YouTube via YouTube API Services, which means YouTube’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy apply too.
Who can use the tool?
Only the people who produce the channel. There’s no public version and no sign-up page; it is linked to our single Google account.
What can it do on YouTube?
Why?
To run Hard Century: release films, keep the uploads organized, and see where viewers stayed or dropped off so the next documentary is stronger.
What does it not do?
It doesn’t get into anyone else’s account or private data. We don’t sell or rent data, pass it on for someone else’s use, or use it to target ads or build profiles.
Where is the data kept, and for how long?
On a private server we control: login tokens, analytics figures and a log of moderation actions. It stays as long as the channel uses the tool and is deleted after access is revoked.
Which Google rules apply?
Our handling of data from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, Limited Use requirements included.
How is access removed?
At myaccount.google.com/permissions, at any time. Once it’s removed, the tool can’t read or modify anything.
What about visitors to this site?
There are no accounts, forms or ads here, and no analytics or tracking cookies. The provider that hosts and protects the site may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver it.
Will this change?
If it does, the new text goes on this page with a fresh date.
